Ask about the Highlight to symbol under cursor function.
Is it intended to operate the function when you scroll or lower the mouse with the mouse cursor on the keyword?
How do I set up to be highlight only for keywords with cursors or mouse click, not in response to mouse cursors over?

The VA option:

VA Options -> Highlighting -> Highlight write and read references to symbol under cursor

actually applies to the position of the keyboard "cursor", sometimes called the caret. The vertical flashing line where you are typing. It does not track or respond to the position of the mouse pointer.

Do you have any other extensions installed that might be tracking the mouse cursor position and what it is hovering over?
