Find Symbol works on a list of all symbols, which are clearly defined.
Why not simply do a "find in files", a simple search of all text? I appreciate this will bring up code hits for some search terms, but depending on what sort of thing you are searching for, this should be accurate and reliable.
add ability to search texts (in comments strings)
