Hello,
I am about to install a purchased version of VA to replace the demo version I have been using. I don't want to loose all the color customization I made. Are they saved in a file somewhere?

You just need to enter the license to active a trial, and settings are also kept when you install a newer version.
But if you want extra safety, you can backup your settings before the install:
VA settings are easy, just use:
VA Options -> Performance -> Export Settings
and pick up the generated registry file.
VS2005-2010 settings are also easy, just use:
IDE tools menu -> Import and Export Settings -> Export selected environment settings
The latter is also recommended since some VA settings are controlled via VS options dialog. |
