Posted - Sep 15 2011 : 12:29:53 PM Hi,
do you already have a working integration into VS vNext or VS 11, which was just previewed at Microsoft build and which is (at least) available to MSDN subscribers and is running on my test laptop ;-)
Would love to give it a try if you have a beta or preview as well...

Posted - Sep 21 2011 : 12:52:40 AM Nice finding but this VAX is definitely more than three stars Hmm - you could be right about the complexity comparison... |

Posted - Sep 20 2011 : 4:19:30 PM Anyway, we are working on it, but the next VS is still in a very early stage of development. If I had to guess I would say that Hide Menu may be a little less complex than VA. |

Sorry for this. |

Posted - Sep 20 2011 : 08:14:31 AM A faint memory I have about the transition to VS2010, but I still like to have fun, so whenever you got something preview-worthy, don't be shy
Worst to happen is that I need to disable VAX if it doesn't work for me. So that is just the state where I am now with VS11 and no VAX.
If enough is working to use VAX in VS11 I would be happy and if only some things go wrong I would try to describe and post those scenarios as I did in the past... |

Posted - Sep 16 2011 : 11:39:21 AM I am sure we will have a build eventually. But please remember, even when VS2011 reaches Beta status it is still in flux, and this can make getting VA running reliably quite difficult, since we are chasing a moving target.
If you remember the fun and games with VS2010 Beta, release candidate, and final release you will know what I mean. |

Posted - Sep 15 2011 : 6:19:16 PM Yes, I'd love to try it, too! I've installed VS11, but I immediately miss Visual Assist when I work in it. |
