Posted - Dec 27 2011 : 10:54:54 AM When entering a C# lamba expression, VAX v1823 that I am using treats the first word after the open parenthesis as though it is a type and not a variable and will replace it with something wildly off-the-mark or, at least, rather inappropriate when I hit the space bar.
I know that the version that I'm using is pretty old and that you've fixed a bug in this sort of area but I can't find a reference to the case number when I search the forums. Do you have a link to the description for case 62362, so that I can check to see if you've fixed it? It's the only major issue that I have with v1823.
Thanks,
Dan

Posted - Dec 27 2011 : 7:51:50 PM I would advise you to download the latest version to see whether it helps or not. If you do so you will get a 3 day trial which is offered for this very reason: to test a new version.
If the problem that you are seeing is not fixed, you should be able to reinstall 1823 by running its installer again. |

Posted - Dec 27 2011 : 10:58:27 AM Hmm, finger trouble again with typing those damn numbers. Here is the entry from the history which may help you trace it:
VS2010+: Repair Case no longer incorrectly changes case of symbols when both upper and lower case versions of the symbol exist. (case=62362)
This certainly happens to me but it isn't an exact match because it will also replace the word with something completely different that just happens to start the same.
