When I type -?::-+ in source code window, Visual Assist doesn't show all objects and functions. 
I often used this in prev versions of Visual Studio since v6.0 (1999y) and it always showed entire links to all objects and functions.
Is there any setting in Visual Assist to enable it in VS 2010  |

I am not seeing anything odd in your directory list or your settings. If you create a new, default C++ console project do you still see this problem?
Can you please post or send me a screen shot of the listbox you are getting?
Can you please export your VA and IDE settings and send them to me:
VA Options -> Performance -> Export Settings
IDE tools menu -> Import and Export Settings -> Export selected environment settings
I can then import them here and see if I can reproduce the problem. Please submit the files via the form:

Can you please go to:
VA Options -> System Info -> Copy Info
and paste the details (from the clipboard) into your reply. This will give us the basic information about your setup. I am wondering if the standard include directories are missing from your stable include directories list, that might explain what is happening. |

- in VA Options -?Get content from default Intellisense-+ in turned on
- in IDE options I turned on everything possible, all -?Disable options-+ are turned to false.
But still I can't browse list of objects and functions in source code window.
Error says - IntelliSense: 'No additional information available'
(See 'Troubleshooting Intellisense in C++ Projects' for further help.)
I browsed google for this problem and couldn't find solution.
PLEASE HELP... I need quick access to original API functions in C++ MFC Project. |

Do you have:
VA Options -> Advanced -> Listboxes -> Get content from default Intellisense
turned On or Off? This should be turned On by default in VS2010. Does changing this setting have any effect?
Can you check and see what you have:
IDE tools menu -> Options -> Text Editor -> C/C++ -> Advanced -> Disable Database = xxx
set to please. If you have disabled the IDE's intellisense parser via this setting that might have an effect here. |
