Posted - Jul 08 2013 : 02:37:47 AM The registry-based walkthrough for adding a known file type to VS/VA-X never seems to work. I end up forgetting something or screwing it up.
It'd be spiffy if Visual Assist X could just have a built in extension manager, so adding ".whatever" would automatically update the sprawl of registry and be recognized as a "C++ header" or whatever.

Posted - Jul 08 2013 : 2:20:35 PM Is this something you have to do often? You should only have to do this, and get it working the first time, and then just export your registry keys and import them on another machine to move the settings across.
