In Visual Studio 2013 the "List of functions in file" toolbar is missing when editing XML files. The functionality works fine in Visual Studio 2012.

Also Alt-M does not work in Visual Studio 2013. Current build of VAssist

Default new installs of VA are only active in C++ and C#, but you can easily change this by editing the registry key given here:
