Posted - Feb 08 2014 : 1:30:00 PM Hi,
recently I changed something on my layout in Visual Studio 2012 (Update 4). But after I changed some things, it continued to crash.
Now I think I have figured out what made it crash, but I'm not sure.
I switched to the Dark color mode. Then, I altered the font colors of Visual Assist X since I didn't like the default ones I also changed the position of the VA Navigation Bar to the bottom instead of the top position I have hidden the default navigation Bar in VS 2012
Using this configuration, it continued to crash. After I changed the navigation bar position back to top, it didn't crash any more. Maybe that's a hint?
It most likely crashed after switching the active text editor to another file, especially some source files which are not included in the project.
Also, I was working on a Visual C++ (Win32 Console) project (no .NET or anything).
Hope this helps.
