Using VS2013 & VAX 10.8.2043.

The only histoty for my files I can find is in

AppData\\Local\\Microsoft\\VisualStudio\\11.0\\Extensions\\tur5hpib.3ek\\Data\\vs11\\history

But the only file is one week old.
After a reboot, this morning, I am incapable to find my backupped source files.

Any clues where to look ?

This is good to know. Not everyone uses source control, and those that don't sometimes come up with some strange, and over complicated work arounds, so I felt I had to ask.

Of course not. We are using p4.
However, even with shelving regularly, between 2 submit, it happened to me to rely on VA backup, usually to restore a couple of hours of work.

The 11.0 directory tree is the VS2012 directory tree. The 12.0 is the VS2013 directory tree.

Are you really relying on VA's backup of old code files for your source code revisions? If so, you really need to consider using some form of proper source control system instead! There are many options, often free for single users. This will give you much more control, comments, and the ability to go back in time in an orderly manor.

I do have more files in the Data\\vs11_1 subdirectory.
But no history folder :(
Maybe a mismatch of version between Data\\vs11 and Data\\vs11_1 ???
I am always surprised how hard it is to find those backup files on the disk versions after version.
