Posted - Feb 28 2005 : 2:33:16 PM The code completion for #include stops listing as soon as you type the first ".", which causes issues when there are multiple files with more than one dot in the file name. The full list of matching files is shown prior to typeing the first dot, for example:
Typing: #include "shell
lists many matching files for me,
shell.GetFolder_helper.h
shell.IDocumentWorkspace_impl.h
shell.iface.h
shell.iface_Application.h
shell.iface_Documents.h
<etc>
but as soon as I type the first dot... #include "shell.
...the list disappears and is replaced with a single guess, indicated by the "?" glyph. Any further typing closes the list entirly.
