Thanks, After disable Rational Rose add-in, everything is OK.

Do you have a Rational Rose add-in installed? If so, try disabling it.

Make sure you have all service packs for your IDE and OS.

i cannot reproduce this, using VS2003, VA 1440 running on winXP pro. i have tried with 5 different cpp files, and everything is fine.

can you try and get a call stack of the crash?
do you have any other plugin's installed?
does this happen with different cpp files, or only with one?

do the source files have Chinese comments in them? if so do you have any source files without, to see if this might be a factor?
