When running VA on a non administrator account I get (after entering the key) this error box:

---------------------------
Visual Assist X
---------------------------
A critical error occurred while initializing Visual Assist X.
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------

What can I do to solve this problem?

Thanks - Robert

The solution was to give the user full rights for the directory where VA is installed.

In another thread, (http://forum.wholetomato.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=4368) studoot suggested installing VA to somewhere other than Program Files. You might try that.
