Posted - Feb 20 2006 : 01:35:58 AM Hello, using the "stable symbols in italic" setting gives the following unexpected behavior: opening a header file first: i see both identifiers in "boost::shared_ptr" as italic. using alt-o twice (switch to cpp and back) only the "boost" part is italic and the "shared_ptr" isn't.
closing all files and reopening the header doesn't change back to italic.

Posted - Feb 22 2006 : 03:08:23 AM i tried setting up a small sample project, in this project boost::shared_ptr wasn't recognized by VAX at all, so i selected "Rebuild symbol data bases" and "claear cache ...". This solved the problem in the sample project and in my original project as well.
thanks anyway |

Posted - Feb 21 2006 : 6:30:44 PM thats strange. i saw this effect the other day, just briefly, while investigating a different problem report about the class shared_ptr. however i cannot reproduce this effect any more, and it is not happening when i add the code:
boost::shared_ptr<int> pInt;
to the top of a cpp file, and toggle back and forward between the cpp and .h files.
what is the shared_ptr line you are seeing this with? perhaps i can reproduce it with the same syntax or context. |
