Posted - Apr 07 2006 : 12:02:32 AM I previously had both Visual Assist 10.2 and DxCore loading with VS2003, and finally found out in the forum that DxCore won't work with Visual Assist running. I have been wanting to experiment with the features of DxCore. I tried disabling Visual Assist in the VS2003 plugin options, but it seems that DxCore still has no functionality. I tried uninstalling Visual Assist, but still I cannot get DxCore to do anything. I uninstalled and reinstalled DxCore, again to no avail. Is there a manual way of uninstalling Visual Assist to make sure everything is removed?

Posted - Apr 07 2006 : 6:13:41 PM do you still have a "C:\\Program Files\\Visual Assist X" directory? is VA listed inside the IDE in tools menu -> add-in manager?
if both the directory and the dialog entry are gone then VA should be uninstalled. it may be worth searching your registry for "tomato" or "visual assist" and delete any stray entries you find.
