I have both ReSharper 2.0 and VAX installed on my VS 2003/English dev environment. When I open C# files, the VAX navigation drop downs do not show up. If I disable ReSharper, everything in VAX works just fine.
I opened a defect with ReSharper which can be found here http://www.intellij.net/tracker/resharper/viewSCR?publicId=21993. They have reproduced the problem, and believe "that Visual Assist X when showing bars does not expect to find a subclassed editor window."

We opened a new case for the conflict specific to navigation of suggestion lists and members listboxes.

This could still be related to the case. So I'm referencing it, its possible that not all things related to it were caught ;)
So I'm erring on the side of caution. |

Case 896 is reported fixed in the most recent build, however, I still have this problem after installing it.
