I get an error message when I try to install Build 1445.
At the moment the installation program starts to install files (starting with VATE.dll), I get a dialog box "FDICopy() failed: code 4 [ci-temp0.cab]" and the installation program aborts.
Anyone else has this problem, is this a known one?
The machine I am installing this on is a new Dual-Core Laptop with fresh installations of Visual-Studio 2003 and 2005, first time installation of Visual-Assist X

I downloaded it again this morning and it worked!
Yesterday I downloaded in a company network with a proxy server, probably this server messed with the download :)

The OS is Windows XP, I presume? Home or Professional? Are you an administrator? |

Hm, could you try to re-download the installer? Could be a possibility that your download became corrupt. I've never had any issues with the installers for VA X. |
