I see the VAX and RegOrg (http://www.riverblade.co.uk/products/resorg) are the most helpfull add-in for VC++ programmers. Unfortunatelly VS2005 always hang at startup after I install these 2 add-in. This problem does not appears in VS2003. Does VAX conflict with ResOrg in VS2005? Does anyone use VAX, ResOrg in VS2005?

I am using the lastest version of VAX in VS2003, VS2005, WinXP SP2.

Thank rhummer, after re-installing VAX and ResOrg (ResOrg first, VAX second), now both run properly in VS2005.

Have you tried uninstalling them both then installing them in the reverse order you did from the first time you installed them?

Removing ResOrg from add-in list and using it as standalone app is a solution. But It is ideal If VAX or ResOrg could improve to work together in VS2005. VAX and ResOrg worked well in VS2003 without any conflict so I think this issue is not too difficult to resolve.

i have seen this reported before a couple of times. one member mentioned using the standalone version of ResOrg as a work around. is this an option for you?

http://forum.wholetomato.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=4132&SearchTerms=ResOrg

i know this has been looked at, but apparently not fully resolved. can you confirm which version of VA you are currently using?
