Posted - Jul 17 2006 : 02:50:09 AM After updating to the recent betas, I experience, that VA oftne isn't finding the right suggestions. Pressing strg+space brings a list of a huge selection of global symbols instead of the three local members of the class. Even after reparsing the file it is not better. Somehow the database seems to be corrupted frome time to time. I don't have an idea how to assist debugging.. pless tell. Regards Christof |

Posted - Jul 18 2006 : 6:48:35 PM interesting. i have been running into a problem that sounds similar on one of my machines, but have not had time to pin it down. i shall try a rebuild and see if it helps.
for reference i am seeing something with C++, VA 1530, VS2005, no other plugin's installed, running on winXP SP2. however the autotext suggestions are very reliable for me, so it is not all VA suggestions, only things related to CTRL-SPACE. |

Posted - Jul 17 2006 : 12:09:21 PM Do you have "Get content from default Intellisense" enabled on the "Text Editor|Listboxes" node of the VA X options dialog? If yes and you're programming in C/C++, disable the option.
Otherwise, tell us your: IDE, programming language, build of VA X. |
