Posted - Jul 20 2006 : 5:35:33 PM my initial reaction is that this comes in the same camp as surround with double quotes. it is going to be very useful under some very strange conditions, but not much use for most people most of the time.
*wonders*
there are times when i could do with surround with double quotes myself, mainly when producing maps between enum value's and strings, but how often do you really need this in normal code? but you could easily do this with a very simple autotext rule, and map a keyboard shortcut to the command "VAssistX.InsertAutotext"
this is not quite what you are asking for, but it does allow you to do this, and more, without introducing any "odd" problems. |
