Hello,
Recently I have mentioned that I was unable to install Visual Studio .NET 2003 Pro on my Windows Vista machine running Build 5456. However, after some encouragement from a fellow member I found what I believe is a workaround to the Visual Studio .NET 2003 installation issue. To boil it down for people who are experiencing issues, the installation problem is caused by the .NET Framework 1.1 not installing properly. This is caused by only one thing, which I researched was a improperly permissioned registry key. The following is a link to an article that should assist Vista users who are experencing difficulties installing Visual Studio .NET 2003 on Vista:

This article will explain the workaround that was discovered to fix such problems.

Sincerely,

James Simpson
