Previous versions had this capability. When you hovered over a varaible, it would display the data type. In 1532 I have not seen this. Everytime I hover, it displays the drop down for refactoring or ...

Can this capability be returned? OR, has something been cleared that allowed this?

This is still working for me in VS 2005 and VAX 1532. Which IDE are you using? Is it possible that something is confusing the parser (does VA know the type when you actually put the cursor in the variable, as evidenced by the context field)?
