Darren, did VS2003 Service Pack 1 take "forever" for you to install? It took about 45 minutes to install on my 3GHz PC (1GB RAM, plenty of HD space).
Edit: To the OP, yes. VAX continues to work just fine with SP1.

Yes. In one of my VMs I had 1432 installed with VS2003. I installed VS2003 SP1 and 1432 continued working fine. I then installed 1532. Things seem to be working just fine with SP1.
