Posted - Aug 23 2006 : 3:07:17 PM I just noticed two spam messages. I tried replying to one but VAX support beat me to the reply and deleted the messages. I thought about posting my reply here, but instead decided to blacklist the company. DevExpress, you've been blacklisted:

Posted - Aug 23 2006 : 4:40:52 PM Who in the world has so much free time on their hands they go around acting like they are employed at a company that isn't even paying them and how does the person know how many developers are at DevExpress? I may be wrong, but my gut says DevExpress was behind it. That and I know of several companies that _DO_ participate in the aforementioned despicable business practice of going to competitor forums and doing what that spammer was doing in an attempt to garner sales. In other words, I've seen this sort of thing before and it almost always turns out that the company whose product was being advertised was involved in some way (usually an employee of the company taking unauthorized action, but I've also seen such actions that are authorized and condoned). |
