1534 is used in VS2003 here. and I found that when I open each source code(C#) file, the status bar of VS2003 will show "VA X:importing ....", it makes the project slow so that it is hard to input the characters, and the usage of CPU is 80%

Can you enable logging on the performance node of our options dialog then reproduce the problem and send us the logs?

I have the same issue with version 1446. When VA is parsing VB and C# references, the CPU usage is over 90% and the PC is almost unusable until it ends. I believe I had the same issue with several versions before the 1446.

Hope the developers pay more attention to this.

I have this too. Disabling the virus scanner reduces the CPU usage a bit, but VS2003 is still slow on initial parse.

This should be a one time parse I guess or does it occur every time you open a project/file again?
