In several locations, VA refers to a Workspace.

Visual studio has the concepts "Solution" and "Project". In what way does a Workspace relate to those terms?

I always gets confused by it.

Regards

Maybe it's time we switched to Solution... or used whichever term is appropriate for the host process (but what a mess that would make of documentation).

exactly. in VC6 there is the "FileView" tab, where the very top item is the Workspace.
in VS2003, VS2005 this is the "Solution Explorer" tab, where the very top item is the Solution.

i spend enough time bouncing between the different IDE's that i tend to use the two names interchangeably

"Workspace" is the equivalent for "Solution" in VC6 and i think because VAX is designed to work with nearly all microsoft IDE's and VC6 existed befor "Visual Studio 2002/2003/2005" the term was kept.
