For anyone trying to get VAX going under Windows Vista:
In order to get it to correctly parse under Vista (RC1), you need to give yourself "Full Control" permissions to the Visual Assist X program files directory (eg. C:\\Program Files\\Visual Assist X).

This is so that Visual Assist can create its cache in a subdirectory under there.

Support, when is Visual Assist going to change the location of this cache to the be under the Application Data folder, using the SHGetFolderPath function?

Likewise for XP:

case=169

No time estimate - but hope before release of Vista.
