Posted - Sep 21 2006 : 10:20:33 PM For anyone trying to get VAX going under Windows Vista: In order to get it to correctly parse under Vista (RC1), you need to give yourself "Full Control" permissions to the Visual Assist X program files directory (eg. C:\\Program Files\\Visual Assist X).
This is so that Visual Assist can create its cache in a subdirectory under there.
Support, when is Visual Assist going to change the location of this cache to the be under the Application Data folder, using the SHGetFolderPath function?
