I am new to VAX !!
I have it installed on my Lap Top and my home PC, it behaves differently .
When I get a list box up , I want to navigate the list with the arrow keys a la VS2005 Intellisence , but on the home PC install , it simply drops to the next line of code and leaves a half complete line of code , very odd . The LapTop works perfectly
I have compared options but all appears to be the same
Any ideas out there |

Can you post a screen shot of the listboxes you are having this problem with? I cannot reproduce this effect, and am wondering if there is something odd about the listboxes you are seeing. You can also submit a screen shot here http://www.wholetomato.com/support/contact.asp and we will post it for you. Please use a gif or png file if you do.
Is this problem still limited to only one machine? If so my first guess is there is something in your IDE configuration that is causing this problem, but I am not sure what.
Do you have any other plugin's installed?
Any utilities or programs running that might be hooking into keyboard commands at a low level, and interacting with VA or the IDE? |

Hi
Contrary to this comment , I still get the same behaviour in Vs2005 , every time a lisbox appears and you try to use the arrow keys to navigate , it "drops" to the next code line , is this a bug or a config issue ?
This is highly frustrationg to the point where VA-x is almost unusable , I finish up switching it off , at the moment its a dead waste of $149 !!!

Per email, we've learned Mike reset his IDE and all is well. We assume the problem was somehow related to keyboard mapping. |

do the listboxes on the two machines look the same? do they have the same icon's? |

Does the inconsistency occur with the same code, and in the same location within the code?
Do you have another add-in in one IDE and not the other? If so, try disabling your other add-in(s).
Are your keyboard mapping schemes identical? See Tools|Options|Environment|Keyboard |
