That is rather unexpected, but at least it is consistent. Can you please export the registry keys:
HKCU \\ Software \\ Whole Tomato \\ Visual Assist X \\ VANet8 \
and send me a copy? Somehow VA is generating an error when reading its settings. I emailed you via the forum, so if you reply to that email with the registry export attached it will reach me. Alternatively could you upload it via:

referencing this thread in the description, so we can match it up.

It seems I spoke to soon *oops*
The line "Exception: CSET:50" caught one of our developers attention. Do you get this file every time you start the IDE, or was this a one off event? |

Various people are seeing this file, sometimes in association with problems, but sometimes on its own. Zero errors is always good, and we are working on fixing bugs.
I would not worry about this on its own, but if you start seeing other problems then please report them and we will try to resolve them. |

Actually no.
Only errors.log file (if errors.log exists then errors.bak file creates)
once errors.log file was created in my projects dir. |
