Posted - Nov 16 2006 : 3:35:53 PM I have enhance coloring on, highlight-all on, but no highlighting occurs when I search for a reference. My background is black. Should highlighting still work? |

Posted - Nov 17 2006 : 3:28:24 PM You may find that you can change it back again. It sounds like a settings problem, I ran into a very similar problem myself, but for me opening and closing the IDE options dialog was enough. |

Posted - Nov 17 2006 : 2:11:21 PM The background color was set to be slightly less than black, changing it to black fixed the problem. Strange. |

Posted - Nov 17 2006 : 2:09:23 PM I did it in the color scheme of the IDE, under Tools->Options Environment->Fonts/Colors. |

Posted - Nov 17 2006 : 1:32:14 PM How have you set the background to be black? Did you change the global windows colour scheme, or did you change only the colour scheme in the IDE? |

Posted - Nov 17 2006 : 1:05:49 PM In VS2005, I opened and closed the Tools->Options dialog... it doesn't appear to have fixed anything. |

Posted - Nov 17 2006 : 12:50:11 PM Can you try opening the IDE options dialog, and then closing it again. When you do this VA will update its settings, and this should fix the colouring problem.

Posted - Nov 16 2006 : 3:39:48 PM How do you search for a reference?
What build of VA X? If not 1540, you might as well install it before we ask you to do it. |
