I'm using build 1540 in VS2005/C++ with "Word wrap" turned on in the text editor.
VAX highlights parenthesis on the first line of text, but when the cursor moves to subsequent wrapped lines, the highlighting stops working. Moving to wrapped lines also affects the brace matching. |

case=4025 is a duplicate of case=16375
case=16375 is fixed in build 1721 |

Thanks. The highlighting has been sorted out (when wrapping is off) in 1632.
Look forward to seeing a fix for wrapped highlighting :) |

I am seeing this problem with VA 1626, but I am not seeing the problem with VA 1632. Can you try upgrading to VA 1632 and see if this fixes the problem?

I just checked again. It varies. Here's a repeatable way that should get you to see what I see.
Paste the following line into a new .cpp file (File->New file->C++ file).
QAction* deepPublishHelp = new QAction(QPixmap::fromImage(QImage(NOTR(":/images/toolbar.png")).copy(QRect(400, 0, 16, 16))), tr("Deep Publish Help"), this);
Now click on the 'a' in QImage (column 62). Notice that the preceding parenthesis is highlighted. Now proceed to click the right arrow on the horizontal scrollbar 6 times. The parenthesis remains highlighted.
Now click the arrow once more. The highlight disappears.
Click the left arrow once. The highlight returns.
Regarding your question: I'm coding in C++ with VAX 10.4.1626.1. Here's the version info from VisualStudio (Help->About->Copy Info):

I do not have any estimate on case=4025 currently, but I have just increased the priority on this for you, which should help.
Scrolling horizontally, I am still seeing brackets getting highlighted when I have scrolled 50 characters sideways. Which IDE, version of VA and programming language are you using? |

Any idea when this will be fixed?
Another strange thing I noticed about long lines happens when you scroll the horizontal bar to the right. If you scroll it more than 20 spaces, then parenthesis highlighting stops. Scroll one space left again and it magically re-appears. Probably not related. |
