installing a new build of VA should clear this directory out, which is probably why I am not seeing the problem on my system, or you can use the button:
VA Options -> Performance -> General -> Clear history, cache and temporary files
of course locking down the directory also works |

Posted - Dec 14 2006 : 08:57:38 AM thank, I know that, the ideal solution seem to simply remove that directory, but it is recreated each time you install a new release of VA |

Posted - Dec 14 2006 : 08:56:19 AM delete folder, create empty file and name it history another way, run secpol.msc and add software restriction policy which denies access to that folder
i dont need that stupid history keeping too, every ctrl+s it adds a new version. there might be some secret registry switch to turn off, no idea tho |
