My situation is that I'd like to add Xbox include folders to the Win32 include folder set, so that whatever sort of project I'm working on I get something reasonable. (I don't mind if I get PC stdio.h when working on Xbox, for example.)

Unfortunately, not only are the Win32 stable include folders not editable (and why?!?!), but you can't select them to copy them, so migrating everything to the custom section then adding Xbox360 afterwards (which seems like an alternative option) involves writing everything down on paper, or taking screenshots, then typing it back in. Annoying!

(I'd initially assumed that VAX would pick up the platform from the project -- doesn't seem to, though, which is why I'm trying to put all the headers for all the platforms into one section. I know it won't be perfect, I don't mind!)

Is there a better way of doing this, that I've missed? Thanks.

Are you aware that the default directories come from the IDE's global settings?

The custom directories *should* import the default directories, unless you have already set up something under custom, in which case VA leaves it alone.

As usual worked out how to do it about a minute or so after posting. Please delete the topic, it's not very interesting.
