Hi,

I noticed a really minor bug in the dialog that you get when clicking 'rename' in the refactoring menu:

If you type Ctrl-Del, then the result will be a backspace instead of a deletion until the start of the next word.

btw: VAX 1549, VS2005.

regards,
eli

In the IDE SHIFT-DEL deletes the current line, at least for me in VS2005. Currently that is not a very helpful action in a single line edit control

Out of feature requests... what an interesting idea

Indeed, I made a mistake: I was pressing SHIFT-DEL instead of CTRL-DEL.

CTRL-DEL also behaves a bit differently (try Office, VS, UltraEdit, Firefox, ...), but it's really a minor problem. Maybe one day, when you guys are out of feature requests... ;-)

Try CTRL-DEL in notepad, I am seeing the same behaviour in Notepad and VA's rename dialog.

The VA dialogs are fairly "simple", so they do not support the full range of editing actions that the IDE its self offers when editing code. You can use CTRL-ALT-LEFT_ARROW to select a word, and then delete it.
