Posted - Apr 17 2007 : 09:59:33 AM I'm using VAX 1553, with Visual Studio 6 My option of 'auto indent' (Tools/Options/Tabs/Auto Indent) is "Default". After each end of line, if I hit 'return' the caret goes to the current position, but after 1/2 seconds Visual Assist automatically moves it at the first column. Arrrrrrrgg !
Please help me :)

Posted - Apr 27 2007 : 03:21:49 AM With the 1554 and 1555, I've noticed a similar bug. (This bug was present in the 1549 too).
It appears exactly in the same conditions (VC6.0 with 'auto indent' set to "default")
When you press backspace, the caret goes to the correct column but after 1/2 second Visual Assist automatically moves it at the first column.

Posted - Apr 17 2007 : 1:53:16 PM Thank you for the clear steps to reproduce the problem. We concur the problem is specific to vc 6.0.
Workaround is to revert to build 1549, or change style of indent to Smart.
