Posted - Apr 24 2007 : 02:38:38 AM Hi,
I just installed Orcas Beta 1 and found that VAX does not integrate with the new IDE. Just adding the addin registry-key from VS8 to VS9 gives me this error:
Cannot set default values in the Directories node ---- Visual Assist was unable to find a system include path. Press ok to add an include path manually ---- OK Cancel
Followed by
Visual Assist X ---- A critical error occurred while initializing Visual Assist X. ---- OK

Posted - Apr 24 2007 : 06:11:02 AM I don't have any time scale for this happening, but using the release of VS2005 as a guide line do not expect support until around the final official release of the IDE.
One reason for this is that the IDE can still change quite a lot at this stage, and we do not want to do a lot of work to get VA working correctly, only to have to re-do it for the next beta release.
