Posted - May 25 2007 : 10:53:03 AM Hi,
I've just downloaded 1555 and applied the registry tweak to try VA Outline.
When dragging and dropping items in the VA Outline view I expected to be able to SHIFT-click to select multiple items to drag and drop, e.g. a method and its comment. However, it seems that you can only CTRL-click to do this. When selecting two items it obviously doesn't require any more keypresses/mouse clicks but if I wanted to select say 10 or 12 items, this becomes more time consuming.
I've not done much Windows UI coding so I don't know exactly how the tree view control works (if that's what it is) but the similar Solution Explorer view does allow SHIFT-click selection.
Is this a bug, working as intended, or simply not supported at present?
If the latter, please consider this a very small feature request
Keep up the good work, Visual Assist has become an essential part of my development environment.
Cheers,
Greg |
