For some reason I cannot seem to get my context field and definition drop downs to display in VB.NET 2005 yet they work in C# 2005. Alt-M doesn't display anything in VB.NET 2005 but it works flawlessly in C# 2005. Any clues? My Visual Assist information is listed below.

The context and definition fields are now displayed after I uninstalled SlickEdit tools. Funny that these tools only conflict in the VB.NET environment and not C#. In any case, the only one of their tools I was using is the line/comment counter/chart. Thanks for the help.

The context and definition fields are showing and working for me in VB.NET, using VS2005 and VA 1559. So at least they do work, which is something.

Have you tried turning the option:

VA Options -> Advanced -> General -> View Context and Definition fields

on and off? Does changing the setting from the top to the bottom of the source windows have any effect?

Have you used any previous versions of VA on this machine? If so did these fields show up and work then? Or is this a new problem with 1559?

Do you have any other IDE addin's installed?

To be honest I am really not sure what could be causing this problem.
