Posted - Jan 29 2008 : 09:17:19 AM Ok, uninstalling VA for an third time seem to kill partialy the licence.
If I reinstall an Evaluation Version on my old PC, I need to enter a licence key, so that's ok, but if I don't and I click Try, my new PC continue to pop a windows that I can run only one instance of VA at time. |

Posted - Jan 23 2008 : 3:12:11 PM We use a 3rd party product for our licence key management, so I am not sure where it stores all of the details. However once you uninstall VA from your old PC the problem should go away.

VA seem to keep the key on my old PC when I reinstall it. Is there a place in register or elsewhere where VA keep licence historic ? |

Posted - Jan 22 2008 : 1:38:56 PM Uninstalling VA should be enough to remove it from your old PC.
When you run the IDE on your old PC do you see the VA splash screen?
Can you try this on your old PC please: * close all instances of the IDE * check for any dead / hung IDE process in the background. If there are any kill those off
Does this fix the problem?
If not can you: * Rename the VA install directory to something else - this keeps the dll's on hand, in case one of them needs to be unregistered manually. * Check if the IDE loads without any errors - it should
