Posted - Jan 28 2008 : 1:48:45 PM I am having certain troubles to disable VAX. Using the Addin Manager I uncheck the VAX entry, uncheck the Startup VAX entry; after restarting the IDE VAX is back in all its glory. What am I doing wrong? |

If the STL iterator problem is causing some of your problems you may find moving back to VA 1541 helps for now. |

Posted - Jan 28 2008 : 2:03:06 PM Hahaha, VAX is hooking about 250327 windows in VisualStudio, how much work would it have been to hook the Addin Manager too and simply make that registry entry when unchecking the entry?
Anyway, glad about the STL iterator news. |

Unfortunately the addin manager does not work as you would hope in VS2005. That is a design decision by Microsoft.
One positive note, I have been able to reproduce a regression in VA with STL iterators which might be behind some of your problems. |
