Thats a really great new feature. Very nice. Fading out the whatever-listbox when holding down Ctrl is another innovative idea of WT.
I have one wish to add here: another key to rearrange the tooltip so it will be completely visible. I often run into the problem that the list shows me a tooltip that extends over the right sider border of the screen, which makes reading the tooltip entirely impossible. |

To be fair the fading of the listboxes actually comes from VS2008, it is a new IDE feature there. When we added this to VA listboxes we made it work in the other IDE's as well. It is a very appealing ide 
Tooltips extending past the edge of the screen is a bug, and on our list of things to fix:
