Posted - Apr 11 2008 : 06:42:41 AM Just a minor issue :). When running the VA X installer on a 64 bit platform, the installer defaults to "C:\\Program Files\\". While for 32 bit applications such as VAX, it should be "C:\\Program Files (x86)\\" |

Posted - Apr 11 2008 : 11:15:00 AM Hmm yes that might in fact be possible. I switched over to XP 64 a couple of months ago. And while the settings for visual studio are tranferable, the VA X settings aren't, so I might have just done exactly that.
Btw of course I actually meant the VA X dir inside program files, not that it installed directly into the program files folder ;) |

Posted - Apr 11 2008 : 11:01:26 AM Perhaps you copied reg entries from a Win32 install to your x64 system? VA stores its installation directory in the reg so that users who customize it don't need to do so every time they run the installer. |

Posted - Apr 11 2008 : 10:34:02 AM Which OS are you using? On my Vista 64 bit test system VA is installed to:
C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Visual Assist X\ and I simply accepted the defaults when I installed it. |
