I cant turn it off, I use visual studio 2008. In the advanced option under suggestions i have turn off "Include bits of code from surrounding code" but it want help. Everytime i write a method like printf and press "(" a list comes up that are very annoying. Is it a bug or can i turn it off in some other way.

Try turning off:

VA Options -> Advanced -> Suggestions -> Include suggestions in listboxes

this might do what you want. This will stop suggestions appearing. Suggestions are VA's best guess, so you cannot really control what appears. The more you edit, hopefully the better they become.
