Posted - May 27 2008 : 12:36:25 AM I installed VS2008 yesterday evening. Computer still has vs2005 installed (SP1, with VA_X), and Visual Assist worked out of the box - did not need to install it again.
The problem: I have editor windows in 2008 maximized. If I click Refactor (VA X)->Rename on function in header, it renames all refs as it should, but all editor windows become "stacked", like someone clicked on Maximize/Restore button. Survivable, but annoying. I am not sure if remote desktop is an important here, 'cause I did not remember it happening when I worked in the office directly on my PC. But now from home via vpn->rdp connection it happening.
Thanks, tandr

Posted - May 27 2008 : 10:27:53 AM I am seeing the same effect here. Thank you for the clear description.
case=17074
This seems to be VS2008 specific, and I can reproduce this even without using remote desktop. |
