Not sure if it was available under previous versions or never. Anyway, I am missing at least the copy/paste features of VAX in sql server files, like stored procedures, triggers, etc. |

I don't think this has ever worked. I have just checked VA 1561 in VS2005 and it is not working there either.
"Full" support for SQL files sounds like quite a lot of work, and I am not sure how well some of VA's features would work in these files. I can see the paste menu being very useful though, so I have put in a feature request to support VA's paste menu in "other" file types, not just SQL files:
