I tried VA 1640 and 1645 the problem still exists, the crash goes away after I uninstall the VA.
The crash do not appear when I do not open any project just close VS2005, but crashs after I open any projects (C++ and even Platform builder OSDesign), so I don't think it's language related.
I tried rebuild my symbol database but it does not works.
Other plugins I installed: VMDebugger, Windows Embedded CE 6.0
The crash at exit really makes me annoyed, it makes me can not save any ui changes and other change related to IDE GUI, I don't know if there is any other side effects bought by the crash.
Any suggestions or directions are welcomed!

the earlier version that does not crash is v10.2.1440.0

Which earlier version of VA did you use that does not crash?
Are you given an option to debug this crash?
If so can you please save out a mini dump file and send it to us? Hopefully this will give us some clues about what is causing the crash.

I tried previous version I used 1440, crash goes away, then I install 1640 again, the crash still exists. |
