If you create and save a file containing the following:
\\hi
...and then highlight the 'h', you end up with:
\\hhi

Can you please go to:
VA Options -> System Info -> Copy Info
and paste the details (from the clipboard) into your reply. This will give us the basic information about your setup. I am mainly interested in the IDE font and VA version. |

Posted - Aug 15 2008 : 10:49:23 AM It's only a display issue, but it happens whether I select with mouse or keyboard. It doesn't always happen - it seems be dependent on what else in the file - but with a file containing only "\\hi" or "\\a\\b\\c\\" for example, I can reproduce it every time.
I can supply some screenshots if you want. |

Posted - Aug 15 2008 : 10:24:18 AM So far I cannot reproduce this problem. How easily can you reproduce this? Is this a display only problem, or is the actual content of the file being modified?
How exactly are you selecting the "h"? With the keyboard? With the mouse? |
