Try typing that with VAX 1647 (VS 2008). It will constantly remove/add the dot being typed, causing a nice delay...

Good! I saw something like this a couple of weeks ago -- all "." transmuted into "->" -- so I just turned VA off.

Now I know to report bugs! Whole Tomato actually fixes bugs.

I am seeing the same effect here. Thank you for the clear description.

For now turn off
VA Options -> Advanced -> Correction -> Convert dot to -> (only in C/C++ files)
if you don't rely on it. When this option is off, dots are entered at full speed. You can also consider to create a VA snippet to insert the dots.
