Hi,

I am on a laptop, so I put it in standby when I'm not using it (for instance, when I have to put it in my bag and walk to class). Many times (but not every time) I wake it up from standby, Visual Assist no longer works, my syntax highlighting is all old-style Visual Studio and many of the other Visual Assist features don't work or have problems. It's in a weird half-on state, and the only way I've found to fix it is to close and reopen Visual Studio.

Any ideas as to the cause or solution?

Okay, thanks. I enabled logging and I'll be on the lookout for it to happen again. I can't seem to force it to happen by putting my laptop into standby a few times, but it does happen occasionally so next time it does I'll follow the instructions and file the report accordingly.

Thanks!

Odd.

When that happens, enable logging per the instructions here:

Submit the logs via http://www.wholetomato.com/support/contact.asp and make the subject
"topic_id=8166 failure after hibernation"
