Posted - Sep 03 2008 : 9:48:09 PM Hi,
I am on a laptop, so I put it in standby when I'm not using it (for instance, when I have to put it in my bag and walk to class). Many times (but not every time) I wake it up from standby, Visual Assist no longer works, my syntax highlighting is all old-style Visual Studio and many of the other Visual Assist features don't work or have problems. It's in a weird half-on state, and the only way I've found to fix it is to close and reopen Visual Studio.
Any ideas as to the cause or solution? -Ricket |

Posted - Sep 04 2008 : 08:31:06 AM Okay, thanks. I enabled logging and I'll be on the lookout for it to happen again. I can't seem to force it to happen by putting my laptop into standby a few times, but it does happen occasionally so next time it does I'll follow the instructions and file the report accordingly.
Thanks! |

When that happens, enable logging per the instructions here: http://docs.wholetomato.com?W305
Submit the logs via http://www.wholetomato.com/support/contact.asp and make the subject "topic_id=8166 failure after hibernation"
