When I turn off Enhanced Syntax Coloring, highlighting of matching {} and () no longer works. Is this intentional?

Oops, that is a regression. For now if you turn on
VA Options -> Advanced -> Fonts and Colors -> Enable Enhanced Syntax Coloring
but turn off all of the other settings on this page then it looks the same, but brackets are still highlighted.
